"Dear Lord, you know what's best for each of your children. There are times when we can't see the light of day, though we know it is there. Father I ask you to continue to show the Dixon family, and the world, your miracles. I know that your light will shine on this family in ways that they never expected. You blessed my husband, and myself with a tiny baby girl who weighed only 1 1/2 pounds at birth, and stood by us during the good days, and difficult days, of her hospital stay. It was then Lord, that I realized just how great the power of your love, and grace is in our lives. I know that You will work the same way in the Dixon's lives. Our once tiny baby girl is now a healthy, thriving 9 year old, who still wins our hearts when we look at her. Lord, you are so good and merciful. "O God, who knew us before we were born, who knit us together in our mothers wombs, who breathes the breath of life into us; to you, O God, we come in prayer. In the midst of the quiet chaos of NICU, bring your peace and calm that passes all understanding. Work through the doctors and nurses and staff of the hospital to place your healing touch upon Madison and Hudson, upon Candice and Samantha. Give them strength and perserverance to grow into the wonderful children you created them to be. May they feel the love and prayers surrounding them and be buoyed by them.
Be with Liz, Gracious God. There is so much anticipation and anxiety surrounding the birth of a child, even more so when one becomes five. Enfold her in your loving and comforting arms. Heal her so that her life-giving blood and love can flow freely and generously. Give her strength and patience to heal. Grant her time to be with Logan and with her new four.
May your wisdom flow deeply into the heart and mind of Donny. Even as he feels helpless at his ability to help and heal his children and his wife, may he remember that you work through him through his presence, through his words and hugs and kisses. Grant that he may be strenghtened as both a husband and father through this trying time.
Holy God, thank you for the time and sacrifices made by so many that this family may be molded into a living, breathing example of your love and mercy. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen"

"Loving and life-giving God, Today I praise you for daily miracles. Miracles of love, strength and care.... cradle Madison and Samantha in your loving arms as they continue their journey from the beds in the NICU...increase their strength Lord. O God, Hudson and Samantha have made it home and are stronger each day and we are so thankful that they are sleeping with Liz, Donny, Logan, Raymond and Karol now... continue to care for their every need, their lives are precious and fragile.
