A NOTE FROM LIZ, MOTHER OF FIVE
NOVEMBER 10, 2005
I have to spend a moment to say thank you. So many people have helped us and prayed for us in this excited but stressful time. What a challenging experience this is. And as you can imagine the challenge gets greater every day. But what a blessing, indeed, to have such a healthy family! Two handsome sons, three beautiful daughters and an amazingly supportive Christ-centered husband. I don’t know what I’d do without them! Life is so much different now but there is so much life and it is precious. There are definitely day-to-day struggles, as any mother or father experience... just multiply that by five. Hehe! Many people ask me: “How do you do it?” The true answer is that I don’t know. God somehow pulls me through each hour, each day, through all the fussiness, tears and dirty diapers and then a whole new day begins. If it were not for my incredibly loving family and a sweet woman named Cathy, I would be hard pressed to find a moment to sleep, eat, shower or have a moment alone. There have been many people who have emailed and your words have touched my life. Through the helpful words of one stranger, I made it through one tough week. I say this just to let everyone who is reading know that your time, words, letters, prayers and donations have meant so much to my entire family and me. Thanks to Dr. Christopher Reigel, Dr. Al West. And thanks to a miracle from God, I am still here today. And I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with my miracle babies!
