Meet the Dixons. Liz and Donny …then came Logan.

Then came not one, not two, not three, but FOUR babies. Quadruplets! The chance of having a quadruplet birth (without fertility treatment) is ONE in 729,000.

That’s right! This pregnancy was not the result of any reproductive technologies like in vitro fertilization. Liz Dixon was also not being treated with any fertility medication, but rather she was taking birth control, a.k.a. “the pill.”

The Dixon Quads are a result of fraternal twinning, siblings conceived at the same time while each having a separate placenta, amniotic sac, and their own individual set of DNA and unique physical characteristics and personality to go along with it.

Liz was treated as a high-risk pregnancy with strict hospital bed rest; doctors prepared for the premature quadruplets. The babies, born April 13, 2005, required medical attention in a level four neonatal intensive care unit.

The Dixons weren’t even attempting to have a second child, but SURPRISE, they got FOUR!
